Navigating the Storm Together

A Neuroaffirming and Trauma Informed Parenting Program

Parenting a neurodivergent or highly anxious child can feel overwhelming.
Some days you’re calm and connected, other days it feels like you’re battling a storm. You want to support your child's emotions while also managing difficult behaviours.  That’s what CALM GUIDES is about.
Past participants feedback has noted the significance the program has had on their confidence and skills in supporting their children.

This practical program is designed to help parents:

Build confidence in responding to challenging behaviours
Learn practical ways to support neurodivergent or anxious children
Apply strategies that are realistic, effective, and evidence-based
Strengthen the ability to instil positive values
Create a calmer, more connected home environment
Access professional guidance that is practical and down-to-earth

What is CALM GUIDES?

What the program offers
  • Small, connected groups (max 6–8 families) so you’re learning with and from other parents who truly get it.​
  • Facilitated by a Clinical Psychologist who is also neurodivergent and a parent — no judgment, just lived experience and professional expertise.
  • Grounded in evidence-based practices with a focus on practical strategies you can actually use at home.
  • Support to adapt strategies to fit your child and your family, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.​
What You Can Expect
  • 8 x 90 minute in person small group sessions 
  • NDIS parent training funding can be used (plan & self managed)
  • Step-by-step guidance, space for real conversations, and tools to take into your daily life straight away
  • ND parents may particularly find learning about using structure, practical ideas and what-to-say scripts useful. 
Costs

Cost: $570 for the 7 week program ($81.25 per week)
Payment Plans available and NDIS funding may be an option.

Includes: CALM GUIDES Parent Workbook.

Contact us to to inquire about Couple/Co-parent discount. Couples/Co-parents may enrol together, but must attend each session, swapping who attends sessions is unfortunately not permissible as it disrupts the connection in the group.
